Our Washington King Salmon season kicks off in the middle of September when the big fall kings start showing up in our coastal rivers. Our WA Guide Service primarily targets smaller coastal rivers that can only be accessed by drift boat or raft. We chase these amazing fish all over Washington State and will go to great lengths to put our clients on the best fishing possible! If you’ve never back-bounced a big glob of eggs through a deep hole to eagerly waiting King Salmon, you’re missing out!

We use several different techniques to catch Kings; our primary techniques are back-bouncing custom cured salmon eggs or “pulling plugs”, but you will often find us throwing spinners or twitching jigs to get these fish to bite. Every season we get fish in the 40 pound range, and there truly is nothing like them.

Our Silver Salmon Fishing Season kicks off on September 15th every year, with the arrival of the Early Run Silver Salmon, and will last all the way until about December 15th, sometimes later!! We offer fully guided Silver Salmon Fishing Trips throughout Washington State, and our trips are available to Anglers of all skill levels, ages and abilities!

Silver Salmon fishing is similar to fishing for Kings, using a lot of the same techniques. Silvers are generally a bit more aggressive and we catch them using a variety of techniques, from back bouncing eggs to twitching jigs and everything in between! When conditions are right, our favorite way to catch them is with bobber and eggs; watching that bobber drop is pretty addicting!

Washington State is home to some of the best steelhead fishing in the Pacific Northwest. Our Steelhead Season starts in mid-december with the arrival of the Hatchery Steelhead runs and will last all the way until April, when the big wild Steelhead start showing up! We run Olympic Peninsula Steelhead fishing trips throughout the season, and where we decide to fish at any particular time will be dependent on river conditions and run sizes. We use all of the common techniques and tailor the presentations to the particular river we’re fishing at the time. Regardless of where, or when, we’re fishing for Washington Steelhead, every trip is memorable!
